I got an internship this summer

Yeah, it is going to really flesh out my resume.... it gives me a total of three career related jobs already.

I have been working at my internship now for a little over two weeks. I get absolutely zero exercise while doing it, but I am extremely happy with my job and work environment. I released the first major chunk of my software to the project manager and a district sales manager, and they really liked it. It was a very rewarding experience to know that not only am I doing what I love and I'm good at, but it's something other people appreciate and will make use of for years to come.

I am very content with my internship, and I am reaffirmed that my place really is code monkey.

The software I modified that handles university of Albany's network registration will also possibley be deployed this summer. I took software written by CMU and modified it so that registrations are based on a hierarchal tree to take take into account that each physical location can consist of multiple sub locations and etc.

I haven't been working out, I've gained a lot of fat back, but i am extremely happy with how my career is panning out. I never thought I could be so content with a job before.

I would gladly work 8 hours a day 5 days a week for as long as I was capable if this is what it's like. It's so nice and cushy.

It really is a beautiful thing. I'm happy doing what I'm doing. It's not even like working. It's like going in and playing with code all day
