I bought a cheap 3 piece speaker set for my computer....

WOW what a difference. You can feel the bass, it's awesome. The sound is sooo full and rich. TOTAL difference from my old tinny junk speakers. Music sounds totally different.

Surprisingly they are not as loud, ... but that's cool b/c the quality is like 5,0000000,000000,000x better (That's 5 bajillion times better for those who can't read skelanese).

22 bucks well spent

I have a nice 5 speaker surround system for my soundblaster card. It was pretty cheap and sounds killer! I've had the same setup for 6 years now cause it's so good I just don't need a new one. I may finally get a new Soundblaster card when I get a new system.

I can imagine.

We are in a day and age where if you already own a computer.... you are WAY better off getting a premium audio card and some nice speakers than buying a stereo.

Oh ya you can get a pretty amazing system right off your PC these days. Gaming is pretty sweet with a quality surround sound system.

Liar, if you played video games you wouldn't be into lifting weights or have DNYC. I know for a fact, cos I know a kid who plays world of warcraft.

How can you be lonely? You'll be completing quests and gaining XP with people from all over the world. You can even wave to people.

I got the Cambridge SoundWorks 5.1 surround set in 2000. Is it the same? Mine still works but the dials make huge noise when moving them...

Good sound though. It became much better when I moved from a SB Live! to a SB Audigy 4.

And you're right: gaming is SO COOL on it.
