How fast do you type?

I'm getting very close to surpassing 80wpm with great accuracy

I am not to sure im proably around 80wpm with horrible accuracy. As you guys can tell i have lots of typos

I have been timed at 112 wpm.. with 98% accuracy... so I dont think that is too bad..

yeah i don't think you can get much faster than that

120wpm seems to be like the 'wall' that most people can't break past.

First college I went to I tested out of the typing program with 92wpm and 98% accuracy (may have been 99, can't remember exactly). That was almost 3 years ago.

I don't do the whole "proper" typing thing either. Just use two, maybe three fingers.

I type hyper fast. I use to type faster when I was on AIM all the time, now that I don't get on that much, I don't type that fast at all... Still over 81 I am sure.

100 wpm, >99% accuracy.

I'm not a standard touch typist; I use all 11 fingers but I have a fugged up home row. I'd probably be faster if I had learned proper placement and technique from the beginning.

hell i type pretty fast but i only use a few fingers in the entire procress....have NO CLUE how fast or anything like that!!

Hell, in grade scholl they tried to FAIL me because I wouldnt use proper technique. I told the principle that its BS that I can type faster then the teacher yet she wants to fail me.

In 6th grade I was typing at 65 wpm.... now I can type around 100wpm, but I usually keep myself around 80-85

110-120wpm perfect accuracy

In elementary school all we had was Apple IIe's with All The Right Type. I learned perfect home row. Now add 12+ years of being a hardcore computer nerd now in 3rd year Computer Science at University and you get a pretty fast typer.

Probally 70-100WPM, I tested with a local company for job placement last year and typed 99WPM first round, 104WPM second round -- both 98%+ accuracy.

Now I type slower because I'm not trying to do anything important, saves on stress.

I've always had a ****ed up typing style -- but it works, and it's effective.

I can type in the 80+ wpm area. I never took any typing classes, just going here and typing helps a lot.
