Default Gun Accident

I have had a concealed carry permit for years and just the other day I noticed that I had gotten very sloppy in regards to the respect I was paying to my weapon.
Seeing this brought it all back into perspective. Ouch

I am now as they say back on track.

I wish we had the chance to do concealed handgun permits here, I'd be one of the first to sign up.

The UK firearms laws suck.

I am going to apply for mine later this year. I've been shooting guns for basically my whole life. Just need to buy a gun (Colt .45) and get the permit. Have a few family members with permits. I've always respected the power of a gun and one wrong move and that's it. No second chance.

Hell yeah, Me and the girl want to get ours together... I got family with them, and I think that it is a great thing as long as the right people have them.

Yup. "Thugs" aren't so tough when they have a gun pointed their way.

I hope you're joking. That is not the attitude you should have when carrying a concealed weapon.

Personally I wouldn't go with a 1911 for a carry weapon. Look into a compact 9mm like a Glock or Kahr. The 1911 is heavy and large, and IMO wouldn't be a practical carry weapon.

They make smaller 45s than the 1911... The 9mm is such an unreliable stopper I would not have any confidence in it. That is why most police departments started issuing 40s to their officers.

The 357magnum 158grn JHP is the most effective one shot kill round of all time with like 98%... the 9mm is something like 38% the 45 with the flying ashtray round is in the upper 80% range.

The moral of the story is 9mm is not reliable at all.. I think 50 cent took 5 of them atleast, and is still walking around to talk about it.. a lot of gang members have taken rounds, and a lot of them survived the ordeal because 95% of them use glock 9mms...
