Default Guitarists, post your videos/mp3s!!!

I know there are a few other guitar playing maniacs on this board, so let's see those chops...

I've been playing now for 20 years... yikes!!! I don't stay very consistent with my practice, what with bodybuilding taking up what little spare time I have these past couple of years, but I've been building the chops back up lately and finally put together a little vid. So, here it is... I'm playing Steve Vai's "Die To Live", one of my favorite guitar instrumentals. It's not his most difficult piece, but the call and response approach to harmony and melody covers a lot of fretboard territory, and Vai always comes up with the coolest little things that are incredibly awkward to execute, but are so very beautiful and unique. Anway, I hope I did it some justice.

I am playing my Ibanez RG470 with a Dimarzio Evolution pickup in the bridge position, through my Line 6 Spider III amp. The amp is mic'd and I'm playing along with a backing track I downloaded online at FREE Guitar Backing Tracks - Browse Downloads , which is a very cool site with lots of high quality backing tracks. I mixed the guitar track with the backing track using Audacity, and then sync'd the music track up to my peformance in Windows Moviemaker.

Beefcake! Beefcake!

lol dude I had no idea you were so good, madman. I'm a Vai freak as well, you did a great job with that. You should learn "The Audience Is Listening" next.

Here's a crappy vid of my version of the Star Spangled Banner incase anyone missed it:

A friend of mine are having a competition amongst friends to see who is better. We're gonna pick 3 songs (I pick 1, he picks another, and we both play one of our choosing) and record it, so I'll post that up if/when it happens.

I would totally do this if I had my Marshall out here. I really like the song you played Madman, but please buy a real amp next time.

New vid... another Steve Vai classic. Probably what most would consider his 'trademark' tune. He closes all of his live shows with it.
