Tomorrow I have a group interview at Tilly's, a clothing store for those who don't know.

I've never had a group interview before... what's it like? What's expected?

Group interviews? They still use those? Ew.

Although I guess they want to check out a few things in a group setting, so I suspect they want to see how you interact with each other and perform under the pressure of having your peers watching.

Let us know how things go though; I've never had to sit in a group interview so it would be interesting to hear your thoughts.

HR is just trying to cut down on the time it takes to get things done. I'd expect it to be rather casual. Be ready to answer questions about clothes

Interview was pretty damn laid back. There were only six people there and two (one very fine) managers interviewing us.

I got there early and was told to just "chill" until the interview started. I was walking around looking at stuff, saw a kid with an application so I walked over, introduced myself and made friends with the kid. I was hoping someone was paying attention to show that I'm good with people and stuff.

So we go into the back room for the interview and sit down, they started asking group questions, and the only people really talking were the kid I made friends with and myself. They were just basic questions so I didn't have problems answering any. The final thing was they asked us all individually to try and sell them our outfits, I handled it pretty well. Made them laugh a few times, I think they liked me.

I'm almost 100% sure I got the job.

Glad to hear things went well... sounds like you were comfortable, which was most likely one of the key things they were looking for. How you could handle things in a group setting, your basic communication skills, could you keep your eyes off the cute girls long enough to complete a sentence, etc. -- stuff like that... lol...
