Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 42 | I believe your talking about Clearing History. Look at the top of your screen, there should be tabs for File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help. Click on Tools and go to the bottem and select Internet Options. Select Clear History.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | The file that actually contains all the info is called the index.dat file. When you clear the windows history, you aren't really getting rid of that info. There are actually several index.dat files located in several places that store the information from your browsing history, to your run history, to your windows media player history, etc. Below is a link to more info about the file, the places it's located, and how to truly clear that info. It's not just a simple matter of going to the directory and deleting the file though, because the index.dat file is a protected file when Windows is in use. There are ways to do it though. http://www.smartprotector.com/eraser/deleteindex.htm - EME
