fellow lifter needs HELP...

a member at many boards, that goes by the name 'Future', has a hernia, and needs an operation. he was contacted and told that his insurance wont foot the bill, so he needs to come up with 7k or he doesnt get the operation. (thats ****ed up in my opinion). so i am making it my personal responsibility to try and ease his worries by starting a fund for him. every little bit helps.

My son had a hernia (im assuming a different kind, if futures is lifting related) and insurance covered it totally... thats pretty f**** up if his insurance doesnt cover it.

I just did some looking around and most insurance providers cover hernia operations.

i lived with a hernia for 4 months before i got mine fixed 2 weeks ago. here's my suggestion....have him pick up health insurance.....wait about 2 months....then file a claim.....but i didn't say that

I sell insurance, tell him to tell me what company it is and what plan exactly, I will do what I can to find out exactly why or why not they aren't paying. There are several "junk" companies out there that say they will pay for just x amounts of things. Basically they aren't insurance, but they say they are.

file that documentation in the circular file.....find another primary care physician who will refer you to another specialist when he complains about the hernia 2 months from now....i know it sounds drastic....but it's easier than raising 7 grand

I think everyone is being serious. I would suggest taking Trick D up on his offer since he does work in the insurance business. If he could do something that would be a lot easier than raising 7K over the internet.
