Extending Shelf-Life...how to?

Putting this is the misc section, I won't discuss any aas/ph/ps.

I have read a few threads on how to extend/prolong the life of opened and sealed "supplements".

Since the info here on Iron Mass is MUCH more educating AND reliable, I would like to know exacty what you guys do to add more years to those "special" goodies.

-Vaccum
-Boxed
-Re-Sealed
-Freezer
-Fridge

Good thread.

Actually did this to supps I won't be using for while this very afternoon!!

Zip-locked then thrown into an air-tight empty protein container and kept in a dark, cool corner of the room. Gonna throw some silica gel packs in there too.

Well with the vaccum.. just make sure to keep it fairly clean.. make sure the belts are not worn.. and make sure the tubes.. are not clogged.. other than those few little things.. there is really not much else you can do to make it last longer..

Frig.. just make sure that if there is any noise.. to have it serviced.. and also keep it clean.. and make sure the air flow around it is good.. most Frig's.. will last you a good 10 + years.. at least the ones that I have had.. lasted that long.. and longer..

No Pj.....he's asking if vacuum sealing, refridgerating etc, will help to keep certain supplements last longer, ie: have a longer shelf life.

Well... what I said will help keep those lasting longer too.. because it will make the frig last longer... so there...

and now that I feel like a complete and total idiot... I am going to go take a nap...:o
