I wish I could find the post a couple years back where I predicted that teh media will start reporting a bunch of stories about how bad vitamins are for you. The phamacutical companies want them to be by perscription only, so they can profit by their sales. My Grandmother has taken vitamins for years, and is extreemly healthy for her age 82. She has more energy then alot of people who are in their 40s, and she looks alot younger then her age. I know several other older people who swear by vitamins, and judging by their activity levels, and health I will believe what I see with my eyes over studies who were likely funded in some form or another by the Pharmacutical industry. It is big business, and don't think for a second they wouldn't use tactics like that to increase profits. |
