Just thought I'd post this here because it's a bit more serious than BB.com I don't want any stupid replies like PIITB! or 'SHES A SKANK' etc so I'm not posting it there. Well I've just started going out with this girl and I like her a lot. The only thing is, she's sort of 'emo' if you know what I mean. I mean she dresses in a lot of black, she has a lip piercing and she often has different colours in her hair. Now I'm worried about going outside with her to places because I don't want people to stare and laugh at us or her. The place I live in, emo people are kinda looked down upon and made fun of by passer by's and I don't want this to happen if I go to places with her. I keep putting off going to places with her because I'm worried about what people are going to think and whether they'll stare or not. Anyway, here's her pictures and as you can tell, she's not your typical wannabe model type of girl who wears miniskirts and really revealing tops etc, like a lot of the other guys round here's girlfriends are like, and that's why I'm embarassed. I know I shouldn't be but is there any way to overcome this because I don't wanna be worrying about people staring etc when I'm out with her!    HK

If I saw you walking down the street with her on your arm I would think hmmmm that guy must have it going on if she is with him. Work on your self esteem and I think you will not be so worried about what others think. How you do this is do what you know is proper and don't do things you know you should not be doing. I had this gf was a little chunky and dyed her hair crazy colors like purple and pink. Other girls (total hotties ,cheerleaders and volleyball players) would tell me that they didnt picture me with a girl like that (meaning they wanted this stud).
