| Pro Stature | I would put RATM back together. Morello is the best and ZDLR is also a great in my opinion.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 128 | You can take a bunch of great musicians and put them in a room together, but they very well may not play well with eachother. Whether that's due to stylistic reasons or other issues that we may not know, finding a group of musicians who work really well together is not an easy task by any means. I'd probably just put Led Zeppelin back together... The synergy between these 4 was incredible - the high-intensity, soulful vocals of Robert Plant, the wailing yet delicate guitar lines of Jimmy Page, the beatiful and melodic bass lines of John Paul Jones (not to mention his keyboard work which was nothing short of incredible), and last but not least, the amazingly solid, heavy yet relaxed drums of John Bonham - all of it in one package was just out of this world. Of course that's for rock..... if you delve into the jazz world, I really liked the sound of the assortment of musician's on Miles Davis' "Miles Smiles". Miles Davis on trumpet, Herbie Hancock on piano, Wayne Shorter on tenor sax, Ron Carter on bass, and Tony Williams on drums. The sound they produced together is something you just don't hear anymore - it was a rarity even in those days. Quote:
John McLaughlin, Frank Zappa, Al DiMeola to name a few.... the list is pretty long | |
