Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 97 | i know, i know, i probably shouldnt be asking but i was curious. need some money for my future baby - Trans am firebird ( i will get you my love, in time ), clothes, supps, and other junk a 18 year old college student needs. i worked as a waiter at a restaurant and had to deal with people, they weren't dicks or anything. - for one, i dont like dealing much with people, but a simple task like a cashier doesnt seem bad, atleast i dont think. id like to work where i could just be by myself getting shit done, and not having to deal with retards all day. i was going over some of the options : walmart/target/kmart/ etc - overnight stocker : im a nocturnal night owl, i usually go to sleep at 1 o clock in the morning. i thought i could do this during the weekend from 10-1 or 2 am or something. sounds easy, dont have to deal with people vitamin shoppe cashier - talked to someone about this, they get a lot of cheap/free supps. i have some general knowledge about supplements, unlike all the employers there. not much action there, seems easy/cool. if you guys have any advice as to what to do or where to work please do tell.

Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | I say go with Vitamin Shoppe/GNC/anything else like that. I'm planning to do the same sometime soon. It seems pretty damn easy and our types are pretty knowledgeable about supplementation and things like that.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 97 | i dont know, its a tough choice. with the overnight stocking, it fits me well. i would just do my own shit and get it done. i also do it at about 10 pm to 2-3 A.M on the weekends, which i like because i dont ever do shit anyways on the weekends . i also think they pay you more since its overnight.with vitamin shoppe, i dont mind being a cashier and helping out customers, i could get some sweet deals and discounts on supplements. seems like it could get really boring though.

| Soldier In Progress | night jobs ... that work till 1am? Bullshit. UPS. Seasonal driver's helper. $11.73/hr, 40+ hrs a week if you wanted it through christmas [or] night loader/unloader for $8.50/hr to start and $9.00/hr after 90 days w/ a great benefit package. Both jobs are very hard, so expect to do about a few thousand deadlifts a night. We ship up to 150lbs, some boxes get heavy. And if you're where I'm from ... you get to move snow plows for trucks!!!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 216 | GNC was mindless and easy. Most of the time the store is empty anyway so you can just sit there and eat, read, text, etc. I got a 30% discount on everything which still kinda sucks but it was nice for buying shakes and bars when I ran out of food. ![]() People are so clueless about supplements that the knowledge that I'm sure you've acquired here at IronMass will be extremely impressive to them. You basically have to learn what products they use to track your performance and also which products have the best commission...and then sell like crazy. ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 73 | find a construction job, any smaller construction company is always happy to have cheap young labor around.... good money, you learn alot, and whenever you start looking for that "real" job construction work looks good on the resume. I think the 3 yrs I worked construction in college had more to do with me getting my first job than my actual degree. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 158 | trying getting a job at a gym/fitness place since their schedules are going to be pretty flexible dependent on how big they are. Otherwise, all of the jobs you and other people mentioned sound MISERABLE! Overnight shelf stocker?!?!? Cashier at WALMART??? You must love being treated like dirt for minimum wage :P Even the pay for the UPS job sounds miserable in relation to the amount of work you do. I recommend looking for a job at a quiet coffee shop, or maybe even some secreterial type work. Otherwise all of those things you listed are the same thing as getting a job at a supermarket. You can go to ANY super market and you have an 80% chance of getting a job with what ever hours you want.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 35 | Another thought is to do a search for freelance work and all kinds of stuff opens up. Skel can teach you a thing or two about programming, there are all kinds of writing gigs, and you could even be a mystery shopper lol... Seriously though, once you get locked in to a job, it's harder to find another job, especially if you are close to full time. The overnight stocking job + the day time UPS job sounds like fun. Probably ok money, but get a skill somewhere or do something other's just don't want to do because of the hours or the dedication it would take to do it happily and do it well... then you can make a little more $$$. If you're good with them automotive electronics, maybe you get a job installing killer sound systems for hot housewives and get bennies on the side... lol...

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 216 | read the OP guys, he's a college student...I don't think putting in more than 20 hours of work a week is reasonable with a full course load. I did 25-30 for a semester and it was like the worst semester ever.
