If there is anything unique to your area.. could be anything.. something cool in your neighborhood even.. lets see some Photos taken by our members... I will start it off.. I took this pic a couple weeks ago. I did it by leaving the lense open for 8 secons on my digital cam with the f stop to the most open position to allow as much light as possible in. It was taken at about 3 in the morning. In reality it apeared much darker out, but when you do this is brightens things up dramaticly. It was a night where it was snowing, and the sky had that pinkness to it.. anyone who has been outside on a snowy knight knows whatI am taking about... and the snow was sticking to everything.. (very beautiful) anyway.. here you go.. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | This is a picture of the Riesenrad in Vienna, a ferris wheel a little over 200 ft tall in the 2nd district in Vienna. It's in an area called the Prater which is a huge city park that includes an amusement park. It looks like an average ferris wheel, but the gondolas on it are huge. Each one feels like a room in a house, and I believe they actually rent them out and serve dinner in them. It was damaged in WWII and when they restored it they only put 1/2 the number of gondolas. |
