I used to have a lift and 35s on it, but I went back to stock because of the amount of towing I was doing. I have an intake, aftermarket straightpiped exhaust, I shimmed the fuel pressure regulator to about 75 PSI, some extra gauges, LuK clutch, and I have a chip. I'm thinking of adding propane soon along with a smaller turbo housing.

Hey F250 guys, what is your mileage (in all of them) and what gears are you using?

I'm going to build some 3.73's unless it comes stock with it, and if it does I'll go for 4.33's to build to improve fuel economy.

I have the old 5-speed manual with a 4.10 gear ratio (super cab, 4x4, longbed) and the best mileage I have ever gotten is 20 MPG. Normally I average about 17 MPG with mixed highway/city driving (about 70% highway). It doesn't go down much when towing. If you get a crew cab your mileage will be lower, especially if it is 4x4. Some mods increase mileage, but the more mods you have the less you can keep your foot out of it. My parents have a 2000 F350 dually longbed 2wd and they get around 14 MPG towing a 12K# fifth wheel.

You may laugh at this but I bought this new in 97 and I never checked the mileage. Why you may ask? Well I didn't care I had to have the truck to pull the trailers and it di that. So I never foung a need to do it. The wife has the computer on hers that figures it and she claims around 19.

Ya, those computers are crap though. I haven't actually calculated mileage since the first couple of months I owned it. Honestly, I don't care either.

It's a 98 with the 97 body style. It supposedly has an extra kick because it has a 2000 Police Interceptor engine, but I wouldn't know since it's the only Mustang I've evern driven.

Here's a pic of one of our toys. Oh, BTW y'all can have the Powerstroke I love my 2004.5 Duramax/ Allison. Anytime ya wanna race I'll take it. Bullydog propane injection, Suncoast upgraded Allison and Predator chip somehwere in the neighborhood of 900 lb/ ft of torque at the rear wheels. Just ask the ricers I surprise, must be some embarassing shit to get your ass handed to ya by an 8000 lb diesel!

Nice Looking... How much HP?
Theres this Mustang GT in mine and Sholiz's town. After glance it's like "oh ****, just another ricer bitch" ... but he sent it down to a tennesse race shop, he spent $75,000 on the engine and shit. He's running 900+HP, he's got some wierd ass computer in it (almost like on The Fast and the Furious), he's also running co2 in it? I have no clue what Co2 does to it but yeah... Just a BEAUTIFUL car... But sholiz doesn't give a second glance at it because hes a truck loving redneck chicken. Yes Sholiz, I said your a REDNECK...Your neck is redder then the shirt i have on right now :bigthumbu It's ok though, I'll have a hatchet ready for ya when ya walk around with a shotgun and a farmers hat on with your bibs. :banghead:

CO2 is carbon dioxide, mostly what comes out of your exhaust. The guy was either pulling your leg about the CO2 or a complete moron.
