Default Can someone please tell me a little bit about holidays celebrated in Peru?

What types of holidays do they celebrate there, and how do they celebrate them??

I have to do a presentation for spanish 101, WHERE the info comes from does not matter, as long as I present it to the class in espanol, any help would be greatly appreciated, there is 2 weeks left of the semester and I'm feeling.... more than a bit stressed....

here's a couple so far... i have a good starting point at least.

Fiesta de la Virgen de la Candelaria
The festival of the Virgen de la Candelaria, in many images, is celebrated on February 2 in various Hispanic Catholic countries, including Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Venezuela and Uruguay.

Virgen del Carmen Festival - Colorful Peruvian Festival
The annual Fiesta de la Virgen del Carmen is a colorful mix of Andean pre-Columbian ceremonies and Catholic religion in which masked, costumed dancers relive ancient gods and rites.

Peru Holidays and Festivals
Festivals thoughout the year, by region and date.

Inti Raymi, Festival of the Sun
This week long celebration in Cuzco, Peru draws hundreds of thousands of visitors and is the second largest festival in South America.

LoL

K this is what I came up with:

:sun:
