Calling Alberta!!

I know there are a bunch of us here on IM from Alberta (don't know how many read the misc. section?) but I was wondering how you all spent your $400 Prosperity checks? I used mine to go on vacation to Vancouver. If I didn't go there I might have used it for an XBOX2 or saved it for PlayStation3.

Well because Alberta is a very rich oil, gas, and resource province and the goverment has more money then they know what to do with every single person living in Alberta last year got a check for $400. So a family of 5 would get $2000.00 tax free dollars. It should have been way higher but here they have a Heritage Savings fund where they put extra $$$ and use the interest to fund various projects. I think it's around 18 Billion now. I hope we get another one this year. :fingersxd
