Sam Arias

Might remember this from BB.com...took a year off from it and have been itching to restart it. BB.com however doesn't feel the same as when I left it a year ago, so with sholiz's blessing I'm bringing it here.

I did however leave off in the middle of storylines, so will be starting here in the middle of storylines. If you're interested in catching up, here is the link:

Cliff notes as far as what's going on:

Scott's sister, Brandy, was thought to have died in an explosion, but he currently believes the evil Dakota has spirited her away and is holding her prisoner somewhere. Scott asked his ex, Cookie to use her marriage to Dakota to find out where Brandy could be.

Cookie had done a half-assed brainwashing on Dakota to trick him into marriage. After doing some bad things, her first ex, Carlos threatened to sue for custody of their baby girl, Angelica. Cookie conned Dakota into marriage to give her a leg up. Dakota however realized the ruse early and went along with it.

Carlos is currently engaged with Candice.

Brandy's ex-husband, Tyler is currently dating Rebecca. They're in the middle of tracking down Kyle, the gym owner's son, who has a vendetta against Carlos for not putting dumbells away at one point. Kyle's been back from the dead twice and Tyler wants to stop him before he tried to kill Carlos again. Tyler also recently found out he's Dakota's son.

Dakota's second son, Jake also wants to track down Kyle. Jake has a rare muscle-wasting disease that Dakota's doctor developed a cure for. Before it could be administered, Kyle broke into the lab, stole the cure and destroyed the research so it could not be duplicated.

Dakota's youngest son, Andrew, also wants the cure. Dakota injected Andrew's rival, Brad, with the disease to stop him from interfering with Andrew's love life with Ciel. Ciel believes Brad's deteriorating condition is Andrew's fault, so Andrew wants the cure to prove himself to Ciel.

Jake also owns a start-up suplement company called Big J Labs. His assistant Liz convinced Scott to join the company as its spokesperson. In the process, Liz and Scott grew close. Scott also has a newborn son, Jason, by Andrew's now deceased mother.

Officer Franks, or Frankie as they call him, is a recurring character who only pops up when they need a cop.

I hope that's everything and if you used to follow on bb.com, I apologize in advance for any discrepancies or changes in history. I was off this for a year and forgot a number of tiny details.

INT. DAKOTA’S DEN – DAY

Cookie enters.

COOKIE
If I were a secret, where would Dakota keep me?

She looks over the desk.

COOKIE
(continuing)
Well, if I were Dakota, the secrets would be everywhere. Guess the desk is a good place to start.

She tears through the drawers, yanking out papers. Nothing grabs her attention as she searches drawer after drawer.

COOKIE
(continuing)
In hindsight, that was probably too easy to be the hiding spot.

EXT. TONY’S BAR AND GRILL – NIGHT

Scott and Liz finish a kiss.

LIZ
You promise you’re only using Cookie to find out where Dakota might be keeping your sister?

SCOTT
I’m not using Cookie. For helping me, I’ll drop the accusations that she kidnapped me. And I’ll testify that she was temporarily insane when she orchestrated the kidnapping of her own daughter.

LIZ
This Cookie sounds like a horrible person. Is it really worth saving her butt for a lead that might not even pan out?

SCOTT
If Miles was right and Brandy is still alive and a prisoner of Dakota, then I’ll do whatever it takes for even the slimmest lead. She’s my sister and I’d do anything to get her back. Just like I’d do anything for you if something were to happen.

LIZ
Uh…Let’s just hope it never comes to that.

EXT. HOSPITAL – NIGHT

Brad and Ciel sit together on the curb.

CIEL
I guess if you believe in karma, you got this Bannon Syndrome because of all the mean things you did to me and Andrew.

BRAD
So you’re saying I got it because I’ve been a horrible person. Maybe this was meant to bring out a good side of me. After all, Andrew was my team mate in football. He proved himself on the field. He should have had my respect, but instead I tried to steal his girlfriend and make his life hell.

CIEL
You were a jock. That was your role in high school.

BRAD
I was also a jerk to you, Ciel. I don’t deserve this. I don’t deserve having you standing by me, making me feel better. You should have left me here on the curb.

CIEL
Don’t say that Brad. None of us show the world who we really are. I mean look at Andrew. He pretended to be the saint who stood up for me when the other kids would make fun of me. But what did he do? He got his dad to inject you with a deadly disease.

BRAD
It’s not over yet, Ciel. There’s still time…

He passes out.

CIEL
Brad? Brad! Someone help us out here!

INT. MAIN STREET LANES-OFFICE – NIGHT

Kyle has Tyler, who’s on the other side of the entrance, in the sight of his gun.

KYLE
As soon as he steps through that door, Tyler is a dead man.

EXT. MAIN STREET LANES – NIGHT

His hand on the door, Tyler turns to Jake, Andrew, and Rebecca.

TYLER
Kyle is a dangerous man. All three of you are to do exactly what I say in here.

He opens the door.

JAKE
(sneering)
Like you’re Mr. Dick Tracy.

Tyler turns to him. Andrew goes down.

ANDREW
Ow! Something hit me!

Tyler pushes Jake and Rebecca to the ground.

Blood comes from Andrew’s arm.

REBECCA
Has Andrew been shot?

INT. MAIN STREET LANES-OFFICE – NIGHT

Kyle backs from the door, turning to Bart.

KYLE
I missed Tyler, but at least I got one of his Power Rangers. Time for plan B.

They exit the office.

EXT. MAIN STREET LANES – NIGHT

Rebecca takes Tyler’s shirt and wraps it around Andrew’s arm.

ANDREW
I always thought getting shot would hurt more.

TYLER
You’re lucky, Andrew, it just grazed you.

ANDREW
I didn’t ask for your expert opinion!

TYLER
(to REBECCA)
Get him to the hospital. And take Jake with you.

JAKE
I’m not going anywhere!

TYLER
(to JAKE)
If Kyle’s shooting at us, I’ll be able to do this knowing I don’t have to watch out for anyone else.

JAKE
(to TYLER)
But it’s not your life at stake if you can’t get that cure from him.

TYLER
(to JAKE)
And you won’t have a life to cure if you get killed in there! No go with Rebecca like I told you.

Tyler rushes into the building.

JAKE
You know something, I think he actually cares about me. But I’m not letting him be the glory hound.

Jake runs off around the building.

REBECCA
Jake! Get back here!

ANDREW
We’re all screwed, aren’t we?

FADE OUT.

INT. DAKOTA’S DEN – NIGHT

Cookie has the room ransacked. She appears to be frustrated.

COOKIE
I can’t believe there’s nothing in here! I’ve got to find something for Scott, a property deed, a post office box receipt, something to prove he’s got a hide-out somewhere. The sooner I get that proof, the sooner Scott will like me again. Then I can divorce Dakota and maybe, just maybe, Scott will dump that tramp and take me back.

She looks around before taking a stapler.

COOKIE
(continuing)
Where the hell could those secrets be!

She hurls it at a picture of Andrew on the wall. The picture crashes to the floor revealing a safe in the wall behind it.

COOKIE
(continuing)
Wow! Now if I could find the combination to that thing.

INT. BUFF’S GYM – WEIGHT ROOM – NIGHT

Buff replaces some stray plates. Carlos enters.

BUFF
Carlos! I didn’t expect to see you here the night before your wedding.

CARLOS
I’ve been so busy planning everything, I forgot the most important part.

BUFF
The reception?

CARLOS
Naw, we’ve rented Tony’s Bar and Grill for the afternoon. What I forgot was my Best Man. I know you stood up for Tyler when he married Brandy. I was hoping you’d do the same for me.

BUFF
I’m sorry Carlos. I can’t do that.

CARLOS
What?!

BUFF
(chuckling)
Your bride-to-be already beat you two it. Candy’s family couldn’t make the ceremony, so she asked me to give her away.

CARLOS
I’ll forgive you then. Just means now I have to choose between Scott and Tyler.

EXT. TONY’S BAR AND GRILL – NIGHT

Scott holds Liz’s hands.

SCOTT
Since you’re in town, why don’t you come to my friend’s wedding?

LIZ
I couldn’t impose.

SCOTT
Don’t be ridiculous! You’re my date. Besides, they can’t afford to fly either of their families in, so the more friends he has, the better he’ll feel about this.

LIZ
I’ll go then!

SCOTT
Great! I guess we better call it a night then since we’ll both be up early. You need a ride?

LIZ
I’ve got my car.

SCOTT
I’ll pick you up at eight then. And don’t worry about Cookie. Like I said, I’m only using her for information on Dakota.

He kisses her and leaves. Liz takes her cell phone and places a call.

LIZ
(into her phone)
It’s me. I just found out Scott could be a threat to our operation. If he uncovers the wrong information, everything is ruined.

INT. HOSPITAL ROOM – NIGHT

Ciel watches over an unconscious Brad.

CIEL
I’m so sorry Brad. I didn’t mean for it to get this far. But the doctor said the disease is rushing through your body. He said if you don’t get a miracle, you’ll be dead by morning.

She lays her head on his chest.

EXT. MAIN STREET LANES – NIGHT

Andrew stands.

REBECCA
What are you doing?

ANDREW
Getting up. What does it look like?

REBECCA
It doesn’t look like you plan to go to the hospital like Tyler said.

ANDREW
Screw Tyler! I need that cure to save Brad. I can’t let Tyler screw this up.

He enters the building. Rebecca chases after.

INT. MAIN STREET LANES-MAINTENANCE ALLEY – NIGHT

Pinsetters crank and groan. Tyler, chasing Kyle, corners his target.

TYLER
I can’t believe this is finally over. I have you Kyle!

KYLE
This is far from over because tomorrow I’m going to kill Carlos once and for all. I’m going to kill his bride first, right in front of him. So his last thoughts as I kill him will be of loss.

TYLER
How do you expect to do that now that I have you?

KYLE
My odds are fifty-fifty that you’ll let me go. See, I’m going to walk out of here right now. You can either chase me down and stop me, or you can save that vial your friends are so desperate to get.

TYLER
What are you talking about?

KYLE
That vial is at the end of Lane 1. You have just enough time to get there before the first ball is thrown, destroying the cure.

TYLER
You’re lying!

KYLE
I can’t afford to! That vial is now my insurance policy. I can’t hold onto it and risk you choosing me over it. But if you want to find out, you better hurry, cause I’ll bet the first bowler just stepped onto the lane.

Kyle duck under the pinsetter and disappears onto the lane.

TYLER
Damn it!

He races down the end of the corridor.

AT LANE 1

The BOWLER takes a ball from the ball return and sends it down the lane.

Tyler emerges from behind and catches the ball before it reaches the pins.

BOWLER
What the hell are you doing?

He takes the vial from between the pins.

TYLER
Sorry, had to retrieve something.

Jake runs across the lanes to join
