Here I am, 3 am.... still not asleep....

I've been programming most of the day and into the night.... I had to do my Java Final Assignment.... it's 4 days early, and I've added twice as many things to it as were required. The assignment was to immitate the cheasy ass program my professor wrote. Not only did I copy the gui perfectly, I didn't have any of the bugs his had, and I implement........ everything.

so here we have it. Pat's Paint. Your newest replacement for MSpaint (or maybe not)

I'm going to go shoot myself now, erm, I mean go to bed.

System Requirements: Java 1.5 (the latest one)

just double click the one that says start-windows.

Yeah no kidding. Maybe I'll give up the fitness lifestyle and go back to binge drinking for a few months, LOL

I didn't do 2x cardio yesterday, just once. Then no cardio today but I'm gonna go hit up squats in a little bit. I freakin programmed my ass off yesterday lol... insanity. But IMO to program a fully functional paint program in 11 hours is pretty damn good. Someone needs to hire me. I had to stop myself from working on it before it started turning into photoshop lol. The teacher is going to smack me and tell me i'm nuts for adding all that crap.

4 skins listed, they all work except windows looks just like windows classic.. that may be just on my machine because i have the WinXP look turned off totally.

Do you do any web programming for image modification? Like a PHP image uploader that allows you to crop, rotate, sharpen, etc? I could pay you to dev a custom one for me.

Yeah, the program will query the machine for installed skins. Mine has GTK+, Motif, and Metal. It defaults to metal for some reason, I'm pretty sure my Gnome Default is Gtk+.

Cropping and rotating are easy if I have access to Perl and the GD family of modules. Not sure about sharpening images. I think I'd have to write the algorithm (or at least copy/paste/adapt it) myself. PM me with what you might need or have in mind, and I can give a definite answer.

It would be cool if someone with a Mac could download it and try using the start-macOSX file.... i have no idea how to write bash scripts for mac, nor do i own a mac to test it out. If it works awesome, if not, tell me how to make it work

I decided I better hand it in early before I added anything else to it...
