Saw it last night and thought it kicked ass. Way better then all the previous installments put together. The only major flaw in the movie was the weapon they used. If there was a microwave emitter powerful enough to vaporize mass quantities of water then human's who are made up of 75% water would also vaporize. Guess you need to suspend belief for that part of the movie.

That's what I'm hearing. Cheesy ending and almost no real battle scene's. I was hoping to see a lot of combat.

I think they said that they could focus the microwave beam.
It was. Anyway, anybody who knows the original War of the Worlds would know how the war would end.

Ya but they were standing right in front of it..lol. And not to be a nerd but there is no way they could focus the beam around all the people and still vaporize all the water in the part of the city they did. On a postive note it was cool when they were all high and tripping.

also if you want to get technical since things like that dont exist maybe it was designed so that it doesn't effect liquid in human bodies. maybe the military was looking out for the people they wanted to dehydrate. eh? eh? eh?
