yeah those sytems are pretty cool. They are all in europe since space is a big issue. When you design parking garages a lot pf space is taken by ramps. This is also more safe for your vehicle since nobody can get to your car. The way it works is you drive into a garage lasers maeasure the vhicle you get out get like a valet ticket and the garage closes and the platform gets picked up and put in slot that fits you vehicle. When you come back you just swipe your ticket it puts it in a que and signals when your car is returned. It evens turns your car around for you. 2 places in DC I read had to put this in as they needed parking and not enough land for a garage so they buit a 5 floor automated parkng garage you just pull-in swipe a card and leave. In the morning before you leave you can call down enter your car number andhave car ready when you come downstairs.

I think the one you looking at is thevolkswagan factory one. Instead of having completed cars in a large lot to save space the put an automated tower that holds the finished cars till they are to be sent where ever. If you look on th eglobal website before at least you could see a picture of form the outside. Neat way to show off cars.

Nope I just like cars a lot. I just wish I had family that worked for a European car company as it stands I have to buy GM, or Chrysler. (yes chrysler is half european I know) Since my dad retired from one andworks for the other. I get discounts on both but I like the new GTI. I might just go with a jeep though.
