He even invited me out to the after party and I had dinner with him. He thanked me several times for coming out.

What I can say about Layne is that I can see how he comes across a little unapproachable on the forum. This is at least partially due to the fact that he has such little time to actually write more than a couple of sentences in response to any posts. The guy is now working on his PhD in nutritional sciences, works out like a maniac, has a girlfriend (who is also super nice BTW) and provides personal training for I've heard up to 50 clients. Time is something he doesn't have. He is straight and to the point.

Layne won the overall in a show he competed in this past weekend and earned his IFPA pro card. His pics from the show are up on bb.com... all I can say is, check them out to see just how big and shredded a natural bb can be.
Ya I've heard from many guys that have met Layne in person and they all say his is very different in person.

Skel Layne is a nice person.. there are things on bb.com that has made him react the way he does.. a few years ago.. the trolls that are attacking Mondesi.. were all over Layne.. and sometimes.. when people treat you like crap long enough.. you just get tired of it.. and react hatefully... doesnt always mean they are that way all the time..

I personally think Mondesi losing all the weight is great.. the photoshop is cheap.. but it doesnt take away from all the work he did.. but I also do tend to agree that all the pics he has put up.. he thinks quite alot of himself.. which always seems to cause problems of its own.. but it is his life.. so whatever he wants to do... it will come back and bite him in the ass if he actually did any of this on purpose..

When Muscle-Tech first came out there was this guy who was used in the ads as a before and after model. He had previously used steroids and competed several times, winning many first place trophys. About 6 months after the last competition I saw him in I was looking through a Muscle Mag and there he was in a Muscle-Tech ad. There were old pics of him with a gut and then the pics of him after the competition. I knew then that Muscle-Tech was a scam and still is today.

glad he's stepped in, but i wish the retards who are posting would give him a little more respect seeing as the board wouldn't exist without him allowing it to.

His answer that it may have been the ad company was VERY smart. Takes the heat off of him until he can figure out what to do about this.

That is also a good point, PJ, Layne gets attacked at least a couple of times a day by idiots on bb.com. He can't start a thread without a troll trying to rain on his parade; either accusing him of using roids or telling him his physique looks like crap. There are a lot of jealous people out there.

The problem with Louis is that he created this ridiculous "extreme lifestyle" image for himself and his whole image, just like his photoshopped pics, comes across as insipid and phoney. If he had used his very impressive transformation to inspire and help people with an honest approach, I could respect him making all the money in world doing it, but he comes across as an egomaniac; more concerned with his pimp-guru status than with helping people. All the bar pics with the trashy chicks... why does he need that? So every fat guy out there who feels like a social outcast will be drawn into Louis' world and follow his teachings so they can achieve pimp status. That kind of approach to recruiting followers is cultism at its finest.

I totally agree madman.. and actually have no desire to see how many chics he bagged in a weekend... I find it childish.. and a huge turn off... for anything he is trying to say... but that is me.. and my opinion is just my opinion.. if others follow every word he says.. then that is their choice.. it is just one that I will not make with them..

Muscle-Tech also lost a court case for using a fitness model in their campaigns and not disclosing who she was; she had just given birth in the 'befores', and was looking Muscle-Tech-Tastic in the 'afters'.

That is hilarious... I do believe that there is a good chance that Louis had nothing to do with the photoshop... I believe that BB.com could portray this kid as a sex symbol with a 6pack and show how you can take bb.com products and go from pud to porno in about 3 months.

I don't like the fact that he instantly brought up the whole "adverising company". Yeah it is possible, it would make sense. But Ryan would have to know about the final decision to do so, and would have known if he did or didn't.

I wonder what sort of resolution will come from all of this. I mean, the hysterical masses over at bb.com won't stop screaming bloody murder until Dorman is burned at the stake and his sticky is sacrificed to the e-gods. :laser:

It is certainly possible that the touchups done by an ad agency went unnoticed by Ryan, or perhaps they downplayed how much they actually did when they pitched it to the marketing vp or Ryan himself. The marketing people and not the CEO are the ones who are primarily responsible for advertising anyway. The CEO just gives them money to put their marketing plan into action. Ultimately, the CEO is responsible but I bet their marketing people are crapping themselves at the moment.

That is assuming, of course, that the photoshopping was done by the ad agency and not Dorman himself...:crazy1:
