Recipes: 1 Rep Power: 50 | I'm going to ASU next semester and there is no Pharmacy/Pharmacology major. They also ended they're PreMed program. While these majors aren't needed to get into Pharmacy College (your actual major plays no role in getting accepted, you only need to have completed the college's prerequisites) I don't want to be completely dumbfounded once I get there. That's why I'm searching for a good major in the medical field, or at least something scientific. Biochemistry is one... also, "Clinical Lab Sciences" stood out as another good one... I just have no idea what would be best. U of A has a Pharmacy major though... So I'm debating transferring there in a couple years. However, I'm already IN ASU and have scholarships there, and like I said a degree in Pharmacy isn't needed, only the prerequisites. Plus lots of other reasons, like getting to know your teachers really well and getting good letters of recommendation. So basically, if I wanted to become a pharmacist and wanted to be quite educated on the human body, medicines and how they work, etc. what would perhaps be the most comprehensive degree to obtain?

I'm not sure what all the reqs for pharm school are though... if you talk to a counselor/advisor when you get to college they are usually pretty helpful. |

The prereqs aren't too demanding for pharmacy college, just a lot of science which I happen to be good at and enjoy. Midwestern University: CPG (click Admissions, then Admission Requirements) Oh and advisors... I'll definitely be talking to him/her when I get the chance. They've already pissed me off though because the one I met with already lied to my face about some things. Bitch. Seriously. They ended it THIS semester.
